The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
